Retiro de Vipassanā con Keren Arbel en Cercedilla (Inglés)

**This retreat will be held entirely in English.** From 2–4 October, Keren Arbel — senior Insight Meditation (Vipassanā) teacher and Buddhist scholar — will lead a residential weekend retreat at Centro Siquem in Cercedilla, around an hour by train from Madrid. Open to both beginners and experienced meditators, the retreat offers an opportunity to dedicate a full weekend to silent meditation practice in the peaceful surroundings of the Sierra de Madrid. Keren brings together many years of meditation practice and teaching, deep knowledge of the early Buddhist texts, and a warm, practical and inspiring approach to the path. She holds a PhD in Buddhist Studies, is a Pāli scholar, and is the author of several books, including *Early Buddhist Meditation: The Four Jhānas as the Actualization of Insight*, a groundbreaking study of the four jhānas and their place in early Buddhist meditation. The fixed cost of €210 covers accommodation in a private room and meals. Please note that this fee does not cover the teaching: Keren offers the retreat entirely on a dāna basis, with participants invited to make a voluntary donation for the teachings.
